As the holiday of Thanksgiving draws near, I have been reflecting on my past travels and how they have shaped me as a person.
My first Thanksgiving was spent in New York City, where my parents celebrated with friends and family. The experience taught me the importance of gratitude, especially when we are surrounded by loved ones.
Another memorable Thanksgiving was spent in Boston, where my family had rented a house on the Charles River. During the holiday, we enjoyed delicious meals prepared by our hosts, as well as participating in various cultural events.
These trips have not only broadened my horizons and exposed me to new cultures and customs, but they have also taught me the importance of empathy, gratitude, and resilience, which are invaluable qualities that I strive to cultivate in myself and in my interactions with others.
